If you are a fan of the golden era of tiki bars, you know these three. Often found lurking in the gardens of historic lounges like the Mai-Kai, the Cannibal Trio are icons of American Polynesian Pop. This is the complete set: the Catcher with his hapless victim, the Eater with his mouth wide open, and the Full Belly, hands on his stomach, very satisfied.
Highlights
- 3D-printed in wood-infused filament with a matte, organic texture that looks great under mood lighting.
- No light source. These are statues for the mug shelf, the back bar, or the rum collection.
- Three 10-inch figures.
- Unfinished Wood Print, or Pre-Stained and Clear Coated for a finished wood look.
The look
They capture the mischievous, primitive style that defined 1950s and 60s cocktail culture. They read as vintage timber from across the room, though they are printed, not hand carved.
Built to order
I print and assemble these one at a time in Kingston, Tennessee. Most orders ship in about 2 weeks. The stained set gets stain and a clear coat by hand after printing. It is usually dry when shipped, but may need extra drying time after arrival. Let the finish dry fully before handling or displaying it.
